Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
As a Nurse Practitioner within the RHS, you will be responsible for delivering advanced clinical care to patients, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and expert knowledge. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a range of acute and chronic conditions, providing safe, evidence-based care in alignment with RHS guidelines and protocols.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to decision-making processes and ensuring continuity of care across services. Your role will involve leading consultations, prescribing medications where appropriate, performing clinical procedures, and supporting patient education and self-management strategies.
In the RHS, Nurse Practitioners play a key role in improving patient access to timely care and reducing pressures across the system. You will be expected to participate in quality improvement initiatives, audit, and clinical supervision, helping to uphold the highest standards of practice.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. As a senior clinical leader within the RHS, you will support and inspire colleagues, contribute to service innovation, and champion the delivery of compassionate, patient-centred care.
